As a follow up to our previous Customer Advisories regarding the Ports of Los Angeles and Long Beach. The Port of Los Angeles and the Port of Long Beach announced today that consideration of the “Container Excess Dwell Fee” would be held off another week, until 25th Feb 2022.

When transporting your cargo, safety is our number one priority. To ensure compliance with our Global acceptance policy and safety standards, we are performing verification of all bookings to make sure that all cargo is correctly declared and packed. This measure is a critical step in preventing accidents and ensuring the safe handling of your cargo. With reference to the change in China’s Yangtze River Protection Law, please find
below our guideline for the DG cargo. This guideline applies to cargoes that are
handled (i.e., loaded, discharged, or transhipped) in Waigaoqiao Terminal as well as
cargoes that are passing through the Waigaoqiao Terminal without handling.

As per Customer Advisory dated January 31, 2022, MV Madrid Bridge, serving in our East Coast 4 (EC4) Service, suffered container collapse in the North Atlantic Ocean during transit to her next port of call in New York, USA.
