FLOODING IN DURBAN – GENERAL OPERATIONAL UPDATE

Severe rainfall over the last few days in Durban has resulted in large scale
flooding in many areas causing extensive damage. Our sincere condolences to all
who are affected.

From an operational point of view, Durban Terminal as well as our local depots
were not operational but has since reopened and resumed activities, although not
at full capacity as the situation is still being assessed. Presently Bayhead Road
is still closed for container traffic which hampers access into and out of the
terminal, whilst the rail service into and out of the terminal is also severely
impacted.

In terms of import storage periods and export stack dates, we are guided by the
daily terminal updates. In our efforts to assist our customers during this period
the following Detention and Demurrage conditions will apply:

Imports and Exports:

● The period 11th April 2022 until 19th April 2022 will be frozen and considered
“free days” for Import and Export Detention calculations. Thereafter normal
tariff free time conditions as per tariff or contract apply.

● Terminal free time and storage rates will apply as per TPT’s standard tariff.

We will continue to monitor the situation and will update all as we go along.
