Illegal, fraudulent and unauthorised use of the name "Ocean Network Express (Europe) Ltd" ("ONE") by fraudsters claiming to recruit employees in the name or on behalf of ONE

Ocean Network Express (Europe) Ltd (ONE) has recently received information concerning individuals claiming to have received offers of employment from ONE through fraudsters posing as a ONE employee.

These purported offers of employment were initiated by a person pretending to work at ONE’s London office who was sending job offers via email from a “Jeremy Ford”. The individuals targeted were asked to send personal details as part of an employment form relating to a fictional job offer.

Members of the public are strongly advised that ONE does not engage the services of anyone named “Jeremy Ford” and would not make a job offer for any role without going through an in depth interview process. Such purported job offers were carried out without the knowledge and consent of ONE, are not authorised and will not be recognised by ONE. The employment related documents sent to individuals claiming to have been offered roles as employees or seafarers of ONE are completely false.

ONE strongly cautions members of the public against responding to these purported offers of employment. ONE will not be responsible for any loss of money or data breach suffered by members of the public through such false offers of employment. Members of the public targeted are strongly advised to turn down such approaches and report any such incident to the pertinent authority.
