OCEAN NETWORK EXPRESS SPONSORS THE HELGA CUP 2023

<June 9, Hamburg> Ocean Network Express (ONE) sponsors Germany’s Helga Cup 2023 for the third consecutive year.

Ocean Network Express is excited to be a sponsor of Germany’s Helga Cup Sailing Regatta 2023 for the third consecutive year.  The Helga Cup is the largest women's sailing regatta in the world open to all able-bodied and disabled women. It was first launched in 2018 by Sven Jürgensen and is hosted by the Norddeutscher Regatta Verein (NRV) under the patronage of Kristina Vogel, a double Olympic gold medal winner and former track cyclist who became paraplegic following a training accident. The regatta is successful in getting women from all areas, regardless of sailing background and sailing experience. This year the race welcomes 340 female participants from 11 nations on Alster Lake in Hamburg from 8-11 June 2023.

The Helga Cup was founded by Sven Jürgensen, the Norddeutscher Regatta Verein and the Helga Cup Team in 2018 and immediately established itself as the largest women's regatta in the world. International sailors of all ages, coming from different boat classes and armed with different sailing previous knowledge, started in the first year on the Alster in the middle of the city of Hamburg.
