Service Delays Due to Labor Action in Rotterdam and Antwerp
Dear Valued ONE Customer,
This is an important follow-up to our previous advisory regarding labor disruptions in North Europe.
While industrial action in the region has subsided, the operational recovery has been challenging due to severe congestion. As a result, delays and service disruptions are expected to continue throughout October and into November.
Rotterdam: Although initial strikes are resolved, severe terminal yard congestion persists. This congestion is causing significant delays to vessel turnaround times.
Antwerp: Port operations are still restricted due to ongoing limited Pilot services. This has created a large vessel backlog, causing delays.
