South Africa Terminal and Vessel Update 21st May 2020

Durban and Coega/Port Elizabeth terminals continue to perform well with no significant delays. Durban has increased resources with an increase in crane capacity and a sizeable quantity of straddle carriers arriving during June and July further helping landside productivity.

Cape Town Container Terminal continues with reduced resource and no night shifts. Berthing delays continue to average 6.5 days.

Europe Trade

MOL Presence v.202B: Currently alongside working Cape Town. ETD 0200hrs. 22nd May. European port dates will be revised upon departure Cape Town.

Santa Clara v.202B:  At Cape Town anchorage. Estimated berthing 0200hrs 25th May, ETD 1800hrs 27th May. European port schedule dates are expected to be maintained.

Santa Rita v.202B: Departed Durban. ETA Cape Town anchorage 0700hrs 22nd May. Berthing Cape Town planned 1400hrs 30th May, ETD 0200hrs 2nd June. 

Kmarin Aqua v.22N: First WAF1 sailing Port Elizabeth to Algeciras. ETA PECT 0900hrs 24th May, ETD 1400hrs 25th May. Stacks open 20th to 23rd May. 

Santa Isabel v.202B: At Durban anchorage. ETA berth Pier 1 2200hrs 22nd May, ETD 1000hrs 25th May. Cape Town arrival on/off berth is on schedule due to buffer between Durban and Cape Town. Dates will be updated in due course.

Ulsan v.23N: Next WAF1 sailing Port Elizabeth to Algeciras is currently on time with berthing window at PECT 0900hrs 31st May.

Santa Rosa v.202A/B: Cape Town port call cancelled due to long port delays.  Berthing on arrival Coega ETA 0930hrs 25th May ETD 1730hrs 26th May. Berthing window Durban scheduled for 30th May. 

Asia Trade 

Cosco Aqaba v.054E: At Cape Town anchorage. ETA berth 1600hrs 24th May, ETD 1000hrs 26th May.

Bai Chay Bridge v.076E:  At Durban, ETA Pier 2 0300hrs.22nd May (export loading) ETD 1500hrs 24th May.  

Cosco Wellington v.068E: Alongside working at Pier 2 Durban, ETD 2300hrs 21st May. 

Cosco Sao Paulo v.080E: ETD Durban 2200hrs 22nd May. Cape Town berth plan 29th May, ETD 31st May. 

Cosco Surabaya v.093E: ETA Durban 1900hrs 24th May ETD  2300hrs 27th May.

Cape Artemisio v.2012E: ETA Coega 1600hrs 26th ETD 1230hrs 27th May.

MSC Giselle v.218E: delayed arrival due to Quarantine at Santos.  ETA Coega 0800hrs 1st Jun, ETD 1300hrs 2nd June.

AIM – Middle East and West Africa product

Montpellier v.2017W: At Durban anchorage, 14-day quarantine due to reported Covid-19 case.    Revised schedule pending. 

Xpress Karakoram v.2010E: –At Cape Town anchorage, due to berth PM 20th May to sail PM 21st May. The vessels current berth time MPT Durban is AM 31st May to sail 2nd June.

ALS Venus v.2012E:  Currently alongside working in Tin Can Island Lagos, ETD AM 23rd May.  Berth on arrival MPT Cape Town ETA 30th to 31st May. Estimated berthing date Pier2 in Durban from 2nd to 3rd June, on and off berth times will be updated in due course.
