South Africa Terminals Update –7/4/20

TPT Terminal operations went live this morning with new resource structure, please see table below as a reminder. There may be one error in that the berth plan for Durban multipurpose terminal is still showing only a one berth operation. We will check further and update once information is clearer.

As at 0600hrs 7th April

Cape Town Container Terminal             - 2 berths / 4 gangs
Cape Town Multipurpose Terminal        - 1 berth / 2 gangs
Coega Container Terminal                    - 1 berth / 4 gangs
Port Elizabeth Container Terminal        - 1 berth / 2 gangs
Durban Pier 1 Terminal                         - 1 berth / 5 gangs
Durban Pier 2 Terminal                         - 3 berths / 10 gangs
Durban Multipurpose Terminal              - 2 berths / 4 gangs [TBA single berth current]

Europe Trade

Santa Isabel sailed Cape Town 1023hrs 07th April and now en-route for Europe. ETA London Gateway 0800hrs 20th April and 21st April Rotterdam.

Santa Rosa is still at Cape Town anchorage and remains on course to berth 2000hrs Friday 10th April sailing 0400hrs13th April. Her over-carried Coega imports which were discharged in Durban will be sent via feeder from Durban in due course on vessel ‘HSL Paraty’. Dates are to be advised from MPT Durban.

Maersk Luz is currently alongside working at Pier1 Durban and due to sail 0600hrs 9th April direct for Cape Town. Her estimated berthing Cape Town is now 0600hrs 14th April to sail 0600hrs 16th April.
   
Santa Ursula Cape Town imports will be retained on board and she is en route to Durban with ETA AM 8th April. Berthing Durban is AM 12th April sailing AM 14th April. Cape Town berth will be confirmed in due course.

MOL Proficiency sailed Algeciras 31st March and is en route to Coega with ETA 0500hrs 13th April and expected to berth late PM 14th April and sail 1800hrs 15th April. Her berth in Durban is AM 19th April, so she is in good time for schedule. Cape Town imports are remaining on board until her return export call. 

Asia Trade 

Cosco Surabaya sailed Durban 0300hrs 7th April for Singapore with ETA 0800hrs 20th April and on time to make critical feeder connections.

Ital Lirica is due to berth Pier2 Durban 1800hrs 18th April departing 21st April 

Kota Layar will berth Durban 0800hrs 9th April and expected to sail 0400hrs 11th April for Cape Town with this berth to be confirmed.

Bear Mountain Bridge is due to berth Durban 1200hrs 16th April sailing 2359hrs 18th April also for Cape Town.  

Croatia is due to berth Coega 2030hrs 15th April with departure 1630hrs 16th April.

AIM – Middle East and West Africa product

Montpellier is at anchor in Cape Town and now due to berth MPT 2000hrs 8th April and sail 2000hrs 9th April for Durban for Middle East / India. Durban berthing is AM 13th April to sail AM 15th April but may improve should MPT Durban move to 2 berth operation.

X-Press Karakoram Westbound for WAF sailed Cape Town 1250hrs 7th April and due to arrive Tema 0600hrs 15th April.

New Jersey Trader Westbound for WAF is due to berth Durban Pier1 AM 11th April and sail 0600hrs 12th April for MPT Cape Town.

Moen Island Eastbound for Middle East is en route to Cape Town with ETA AM 13th April. She should berth AM 14th April to depart PM also 14th April. For schedule to be advised for DUR.

Mozart Westbound for Middle East is due to sail WAF PM 8th April posting Cape Town schedule 16-17th April, but we will update further during this week.
