South Africa Terminals Update 13/04/20

TPT Terminal operations continue to work well with the below structure. Please note that there can be variables to gang use dependent on specific vessel stowage. 
 

As of 13th April

Cape Town Container Terminal             - 2 berths / 6 gangs
Cape Town Multipurpose Terminal        - 1 berth / 2 gangs
Coega Container Terminal                    - 1 berth / 4 gangs
Port Elizabeth Container Terminal        - 1 berth / 2 gangs
Durban Pier 1 Terminal                         - 1 berth / 5 gangs
Durban Pier 2 Terminal                         - 3 berths / 10 gangs
Durban Multipurpose Terminal              - 1 berths / 2 gangs

Latest vessel/trade updates are tabled below:

Europe Trade

Santa Rosa is alongside working Cape Town and due to sail 0600hrs 15th April, a forward updated schedule will follow once she has sailed. Her over-carried Coega imports, which were discharged in Durban have been loaded on ‘HSL Paraty’ which sailed Durban 2025hrs 12/Apr to arrive both Coega and Port Elizabeth between 15-17/Apr.

Maersk Luz is at Cape Town anchorage and will follow Santa Rosa to berth 1000hrs 15/April and sail 1800hrs 17/April. Her forward schedule will be updated post sailing.

Santa Ursula is alongside working at Pier 1 Durban and due to sail 2200hrs 14th April. She has also installed an export Port Elizabeth northbound call arriving 1600hrs 17th April and sailing 1600hrs 18th April.  Her Cape Town berth is now 0200hrs 21/Apr to sail 2359hrs 22/Apr but will be updated should this change.

MOL Proficiency is alongside loading at Walvis Bay due to sail early hours 14/Apr and should ETA Coega late PM 16th April. She is expected to berth on time in also Durban PM 19/April but will update dependent on her exact on berth time in Coega.

Santa Barbara is going to bypass Cape Town import call and proceed directly to Coega with current ETA 0300hrs 19/April. She is due to berth 0001hrs 21/Apr

MOL Presence is currently in Algeciras on her Southbound call. She is showing on Cape Town berth plan 0600hrs 26/Apr so is in good time to make this berth. We will update further nearer to her arrival.

 

Asia Trade 

Ital Lirica is still due to berth Pier 2 Durban 2200hrs 16th April departing 1000hrs 20/April. 

Kota Layar sailed Pier 1 Durban 0050hrs 12/April and is en route to Cape Town with ETA anchorage 1200hrs 15/Apr. She is expected to berth 2200hrs 17/Apr and sail for Asia 0600hrs 19/Apr.

Bear Mountain Bridge is due to berth Durban 1300hrs 17th April sailing 0400hrs 19th April. She is then due to berth Cape 0200hrs 23/Apr to sail 1400hrs 24/Apr. Cargo to Asia ex PLZ can be connected to this vessel using the Santa Ursula.

ALS Fides – is due to berth Pier 1 at 1300hrs 21/Apr departing 0500hrs 23/Apr. For Cape Town she has schedule room and is due to berth 0600hrs 26/Apr to sail 1400hrs 27/Apr.

Croatia is still due to berth Coega during 16th April with departure PM 17th April however berthing plan may change slightly depending on other vessel movement with MOL Proficiency.

 

AIM – Middle East and West Africa product

Montpellier Eastbound for Middle East is alongside MPT Durban at 1030hrs 13/April. She is due to sail 1400hrs 14/April with ETA Jebel Ali 0900hrs.

New Jersey Trader Westbound for WAF sailed Durban Pier1 0200hrs 13th April for Cape Town. She should berth MPT Cape Town AM 16/Apr to depart AM 17/Apr for Tema.

Moen Island Eastbound for Middle East arrived Cape Town anchorage 0600hrs 13/April. She is expected to berth MPT 15th April to depart also PM 15th April. We have introduced a Port Elizabeth call to her schedule due to demand and this should now take place AM 17/Apr. Stacks extension is being arranged to 16/Apr and will be updated early on 14th April. Her Durban berth at MPT has improved to AM 19/Apr sailing PM 21/Apr

Mozart Westbound for Middle East remains with ETA Cape Town 0130hrs 19/Apr. She is expected to berth PM 19th Apr and sail AM 21st Apr.

ALS Venus Westbound for WAF sailed Durban 1420hrs 12/Apr for Cape Town where she will berth MPT AM 17th April.

Westermoor Westbound for WAF is due Durban 25th April and we will update forward schedule in due course.
