SRX Service update – Industrial actions in Hutchinson Port Delta 2 (Rotterdam)

Dear Valued Customer,  

Please be advised that as a result of industrial action in the Rotterdam Hutchinson Port Delta  2 (HPD2) terminal, the schedule of our South Africa Rainbow Express Service (SRX) is  severely impacted. 

Earlier this week, we already informed you that the M/V MOL Proficiency v.224N/225S will perform a double call to allow for the import cargo to arrive in time for the Christmas market and to safeguard the overall schedule integrity of the vessel. 

Regretfully also the next vessel in our SRX schedule, the M/V Kalahari Express  v.224N/225S, has been pushed back in Rotterdam to 30 December 2022 (9-day delay). In  order to protect our service delivery to our clients we are investigating various contingency options. 

We sincerely apologize for any inconvenience caused. Please be assured we are closely working, together with our SAECS VSA partners and all stakeholders involved, to minimize  the delays as much as possible.
