Transatlantic Trade – AL4 Service – Schedule Update

Further to our advisory dated 27th July regarding the sailing of M/V MOL Glide voyage 069W, in order to preserve the schedule reliability of the AL4 service from London Gateway (GBLGP), we discussed with DP World and our Alliance partner to reinstate the London Gateway call for the MOL Glide. Unfortunately, the proposed reinstatement of the London Gateway port call proved impossible to achieve as it would have resulted in a significant delay in the vessel ETA in Veracruz.

We appreciate that this situation has resulted in a significant delay to UK export cargoes. 

Our contingency plan is to load all available UK export cargo on M/V Hamburg Bay, voyage 013W, ETA London Gateway 14th August and with ETA Veracruz 2nd September, ETA Altamira 4th September and ETA Houston 8th September.   

Rest assured that we will continue to work with our Alliance partner to stabilize the AL4 schedule moving forward.
